MIDDLE DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 13.29 g, 6 h), imitating Audoleon of Paeonia. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΛVΔΩΛEοN - TοΣ Celticized horseman to right, wearing plumed helmet; below foreleg, pellet; on horse's belly, triskeles-shaped punch. Dembski 1320. Flesche 544. Lanz 705. OTA 402/3. Minor corrosion on the obverse and light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
